All Saturating and Coating systems require an efficient and accurate heat transfer mechanism to dry or cure solvents.

Litzler custom designs all drying systems based on the coating/impregnating system requirements of the customer.

Radiant:

Litzler ovens are factory assembled in convenient modules to simplify installation and start-up.

PERFECT RADIANT®
The Litzler patented Perfect Radiant® oven is based on the long-wave infrared in the electromagnetic energy spectrum. The radiating heat is efficiently absorbed by the web and is applicable to most resin systems. The combination of a clean environment and heating from the inside provides an excellent finished product with a clean surface.

Machine Flexibility
Separate vertical heating zones in the cross machine direction allow precise cross-web solvent evaporation and product curing. Radiant heat cures the web from the inside out, preventing skinning of the resins. The last section of the down pass includes multiple cross-web sealed electric radiant panels. This provides exact final cure adjustment across the web.

Solvent Removal
Solvent laden air is removed through a proprietary laminar flow system using indirectly heated filtered fresh makeup air.

Cleanliness
Heat transfer from smooth radiant panels helps keep the oven clean for longer periods of time as it minimizes the need for air movement inside the oven. This also promotes a clean surface finish on the web.

CONVECTION
Litzler OPTI-FLOW convection ovens deliver the maximum heat transfer of any hot air oven. Accurate impingement air is directed at the product through proprietary nozzle and supply systems. Return air is alternated between the supply nozzles to increase heat transfer and web stability. This proprietary OPTI-FLOW technique produces even side-to-side airflows which is required for consistent cross-web drying and curing.

Perfect Float®
Litzler Perfect Float® flotation dryers support and dry the web through Perfect Float® air bars on a cushion of air. Flotation drying offers a high heat transfer for higher speeds and shorter dryers.
